My Teaching Philosphy

My services are based on the belief that the student's needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. I create individualized program for each child. No two programs look the same. Programs are designed around student interests.

Whether a child is learning behavior or academics, it is my approach to teach them in steps and most importantly teaching them at the level they are at.

My philosophy of teaching evolved from many years of working as a behavioral consultant. As I reflect on my beliefs regarding teaching and learning, I find that my mission as a consultant, whether I am teaching Behavior or academics is threefold:

• Helping learners learn to appreciate their own strengths
• Teaching in the Zone of proximal development
